Overall we had a great time and will probably go back again.
They have a lazy river and a wave pool. 3 tube slides together with single or double riders, 4 mat slides, a multi person slide when the whole family can go down together, a half pipe which is scary as hell but fun and a little water themed kids area. Food is pretty expensive and it's typical theme park food. Not bad, not great.
We went 2 years ago and were pretty disappointed. It was over crowded and they ran out of bottled water. Granted it was the last weekend of their season and very hot so you can understand the crowds.
We gave it another chance today and I was pretty impressed. The park was clean and the staff was very friendly. It's a small park so $30 per ticket is a little high but when you factor in the free parking, it's not too crazy. I recommend you go when it's cloudy or calling for showers. The lines will be shorter and you're gonna get wet anyway. It sprinkled and was overcast all day so the place was pretty empty except for a few summer camp groups.
The parking is free.
The whole pirate ship with slides and other fun stuff for kids.
This is a GREAT place to spend weekend!
Just the right size for family fun. Great for kids and adults. Took our 5 year old there and she had lots to do. Our 8 year old as well and all the older kids looked like they were having a great time as well. They even have life jackets available for use for free. Nice food options and not expensive at all. Water and grounds are immaculate. Extremely well maintained. Definitely going again.
Everyone will find appropriate entertainment.
Splashdown is very family friendly and has nice amount of rides. It's not too big and not too small. The staff if very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and moderately priced for food. Your able to engage in different activities as well. You can tan or stay wet. Something me and family look forward to every year.
Amazing slides, lots of water attractions.
Note: buying tickets online you can save $5 per ticket.
It's pretty good park if you live close by. Good attractions, food choices and it's organized and I myself enjoyed it with some friends. But if you live 1 or more hours away, I would prefer going to a more famous park because it can get crowded at times and the wait times can.be if you go and a crowded day, but overall, I liked it.
